![]() Philip Covin joined The Myrick Company, LLC in 1996 as the Research Manager, responsible for all research duties including analysis of local, regional, and national real estate markets and their related factors such as population, employment, and general growth trends in these markets. Mr. Covin later transferred into the brokerage department and focuses on intown Atlanta markets, primarily Midtown and Downtown. He specializes in the sale of land and industrial properties to investors and developers, as well as the sale of historic properties. Mr. Covin grew up in Pierce County, Georgia and graduated from The University of Georgia in 1995 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate. He is an active member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and was selected as its Member of the Month in May 2004. He has also served on the Board's Community Services Committee for the past six years and is also a member of the Young Council of Realtors. He currently serves on the Board of the Atlanta Preservation Center, as well as Chair of its Advocacy Committee, whose mission is to help facilitate the preservation of Atlanta's historically and architecturally significant structures. He has served in the past as a member of the Dorey's Real Estate Review Roundtable and as an active participant with the Fairlie-Poplar Task Force. Mr. Covin also enjoys volunteering with Trees Atlanta and resides in the Morningside community. |
