Michael K. Myrick has been active in real estate since 1978 when he began investing in real estate both in partnerships and individually. He was licensed as a real estate salesperson in 1979 and joined THE MYRICK COMPANY, LLC in 1989 where he was named a vice president in 1994. In the last five years he has closed over 100 transactions in sales and leasing of commercial and investment properties in metropolitan Atlanta. While Mr. Myrick's primary focus is on industrial properties and land, his experience also includes both sales and leasing of office and retail properties. Mr. Myrick has represented owners and purchasers on the sale of properties and landlords and tenants for the leasing of industrial and office properties. He has been the marketing agent for industrial site sales in Trotters Creek Industrial Park and Gateway Industrial Park in South Forsyth County. At Trotters Creek Industrial Park he was also actively involved with the land development and worked as a developer's representative for build-to-suit warehouses in the park. Mr. Myrick has represented the Resolution Trust Corporation on the sale of several of their properties and he has represented NationsBank in the marketing and sale of five of their metropolitan Atlanta properties. Prior to joining THE MYRICK COMPANY, LLC, Mr. Myrick began work in Atlanta in 1972 with The Southern Company. During his seventeen years with The Southern Company he worked as a design engineer at Georgia Power Company and in data processing management at Southern Company Services. In 1988, Mr. Myrick was loaned to Southern Electric International as the lead consultant on an organizational review of the Puerto Rican Electrical Authority's information services department. Mr. Myrick was born in Orlando, Florida and lived there until graduating from high school. He attended Auburn University where he graduated in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He completed his Masters of Business Administration in Finance at Georgia State University. Mr. Myrick is an active member of Atlanta Board of Commercial Real Estate and a member of the North Fulton Chamber of Commerce.
